Voter Guide Toolkit was created by e-thePeople.org, a nonprofit organization whose non-partisan mission is to improve civic participation through Internet technologies. e-thePeople provides civic tools and content to over 700 newspaper, radio & television web sites, including companies like the Chicago Sun Times, The Dallas Morning News, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and Clear Channel Communications. Hundreds of thousands of citizens use the digital town hall at e-thePeople.org to write letters, start and sign petitions, and participate in polls and deliberative discussions.

e-thePeople.org has been involved in creating online election content since 2000. Over the past several years we have been involved in all aspects of online political activity—online debates, interactive assessment tools, and voter guides. Voter Guide Toolkit is the culmination of that work, providing the most essential and valuable features of an online election tool.
